Zinnia Studs — Beaded Stud Earring PDF Tutorial | Samos Beads

Samos beads make the perfect backdrop for a sparkly crystal stud — or convert them to a drop pair if you wish.

The Zinnia Studs use four Samos beads as the petals of a flower-shaped earring, with a bezelled ss39 crystal rivoli at the centre. The design works beautifully as a stud with a 6mm finding, or make a small loop at the top for a drop version. Compact, elegant, and fully customisable in your favourite colour combination.

You will need:

• 2 × ss39 crystal Rivolis
• 8 × Samos Beads (Par Puca)
• 8 × 4mm round or bicone beads
• Less than 1g size 11 seed beads (colour A)
• Less than 1g size 11 seed beads (colour B)
• Pinch of size 15 seed beads
• 2 × stud findings (6mm) and earring backs, or earring hooks of choice
