The Studio at On A String

Effective from 1 January 2026

1. Membership Overview

The Studio at On A String is a creative membership program offering exclusive resources, discounts, and events for beaders and makers. By joining, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Membership Tiers

  • Seed Bead Pass: A gentle, beginner-friendly tier with access to digital discounts, early resources, and printable materials.
  • Annual cost for this tier is $24AUD, with perceived value determined by purchasing tutorials at an ongoing discounted rate for term of membership at 15%. Anniversary gift one off discount code on any product in store is 30% and value will be determined by purchase. 
  • Crystal Club: A premium tier including all Seed Bead perks, plus Zoom workshops, 1:1 sessions, and priority access to new tools and events.
  • Annual cost for this tier is $600AUD, with perceived value determined by purchasing tutorials at an ongoing discounted rate for term of membership at 15%. Anniversary gift one off discount code on any product in store is 30% and value will be determined by purchase. Other benefits of Crystal Club are valued at $750AUD at time of launch of The Studio and maybe increased in value determined by length of Zoom Workshops and other gifts, benefits and discounts offered exclusively to Crystal Club members.
  • Membership of Seed Bead Pass is unlimited in numbers.
  • Membership of Crystal Club will be limited to 50 spots annually. This tier is intentionally intimate, designed for deeper connection and personalized support. If it’s full, a waiting list will be available and you will be notified as soon as a space opens.

3. Billing & Cancellation

  • Memberships are billed monthly through Shopify.
  • You may cancel anytime via your account settings.
  • Cancellations stop future billing but do not refund the current month.
  • Rejoining after cancellation resets your perks to the current month’s offerings.

4. Zoom Workshops & 1:1 Sessions

  • Crystal Club members receive up to three live Zoom workshops per year. Dates and topics will be announced via email and inside The Studio.
  • These sessions include all workshop instructions in PDF format but students will be required to supply own beads or purchase kit and/or components to complete project. These details will be provided prior to each workshop. 
  • Workshop length will be between 2.5 and 5 hours and maybe split over two sessions per project, depending on complexity and timing.
  • Each Crystal Club member is entitled to one 1:1 Zoom session per membership year. Sessions must be booked while your membership is active.
  • Workshops and sessions are non-transferable and may not be recorded or redistributed.
  • Cancellation notice of attendance booking for a workshop is required at least 48 hours in advance if possible, and tutorial will be provided afterwards for completion in own time.

5. Community Guidelines & Communication Methods

  • The Studio is a welcoming space for makers of all skill levels.
  • The Studio will communicate via email to Seed Bead Pass and Crystal Club members with members responsible for maintaining own email platforms to ensure communication is received.
  • A specific closed Facebook Group will be available for members to join to discuss and share The Studio experience, workshops and progress and will be moderated to ensure it is a safe place and meets community guidelines and standards.
  • Members are expected to treat each other with kindness, respect, and inclusivity.
  • Harassment, spam, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the program without refund.

6. Content Use

  • All tutorials, printables, and workshop materials are for personal use only.
  • Redistribution, resale, or reproduction of content without written permission is not allowed.

7. Updates to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Members will be notified of any significant changes via email.
