The kite shape is built in two passes from a mid-point anchor rather than picked up in one long starting row — much better tension control while you're finding your rhythm, and a construction method shared across the whole Kite Earrings series.

• 2 x drop pearls (or a bead/charm of your choice)
• 2 x ear wires
• Fireline 6lb, or One-G thread
• Size 10/12 beading needle
• Beading mat/tray, sharp scissors or thread burner, lighting/magnification
