A six-pointed star pendant that honours all 12 colours of International Beading Week.
Starglass was my free pattern for International Beading Week 2026, and it's still free for you to download. A 25mm glass dome cabochon sits at the centre, catching the light and magnifying the beadwork behind it. The 12 IBW colours sit in pairs around the outer edge, separated by six main colour star points, so every colour gets its place without competing. The CRAW rope cycles through all 12 colours, and the toggle ring and bar finish it in your main colour.
You'll need: 1 × 25mm glass domed cabochon, 4g size 15 seed beads (main colour), 2g size 11 seed beads (main colour), 4g size 11 Delica beads (main colour), 1g each of size 11 seed beads in the 12 IBW colours.
Skill level: Intermediate to advanced. Techniques: Flat and circular peyote, stitch in the ditch, odd count peyote (toggle bar), CRAW rope, cabochon bezelling.
