Tesselate Pendant — Beading PDF Tutorial | Rulla & Demi Round Beads

$12.00

Like beaded mosaic tiles — the Tesselate pendant is built from repeating Rulla bead medallions that lock together into two completely different pendant shapes, plus a matching pair of earrings.

Each medallion is worked individually using Rulla beads, Demi Rounds, 4mm pearls, and size 11 seed beads, then joined using two types of connecting stitches. Choose the V-shape pendant (with a beaded rope chain and magnetic clasp) or the Diamond-shape pendant (with a peyote bail and silk ribbon). Both use the same 8-medallion base, so you can decide your direction as you go. The earrings are a single medallion each with a pearl drop — simple and quick once you’ve mastered the disc.

This is a 9-page PDF tutorial with step-by-step instructions, detailed join diagrams, and photos of both pendant styles.

Bead list (V-shape pendant + earrings): 110 × 4mm pearls/round beads, 100 Rulla beads, 2g Demi Round size 8 (Colour A), 4g Demi Round size 8 (Colour B), 1g size 15 (Colour A), 8g size 11 (Colour A), 2 earring wires, 1 magnetic clasp, 3 × 7mm × 11mm pearl drop beads. Optional: 1 silk ribbon (for Diamond shape).

Skill level: Beginner to intermediate. Techniques: Component construction with Rulla beads, medallion joining, RAW-style rope, odd-count peyote bail.
